Using KayaPDF

You may use KayaPDF for personal or lawful business work under the licence supplied with your app. Use only documents you are entitled to access and edit. Do not use the website to distribute malware, interfere with other users or attempt unauthorized access. Where you need a parent or guardian's permission to use the service, obtain it first.

Your documents and our software

You keep your rights in your documents. Processing a file with KayaPDF does not transfer ownership to us. KayaPDF branding and software belong to Cryptosam LLC or their respective rights holders. Third-party components retain their own licences, provided with the app. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licences or by law.

Check your finished document

Keep a separate copy of important files and review changes before sharing. OCR can make mistakes. Page organization preserves supported forms when that option is enabled; choosing a flattened copy removes editing features. A drawn signature is not a certificate-based digital signature; KayaPDF does not verify the signer's identity or guarantee a document's legal validity. Advertising and third-party offers

KayaPDF is free, with no purchases or subscriptions; ad-supported versions use only Google AdMob banners in the library. An ad is not our endorsement of the offer. Opening an ad may take you to another app or website; its provider's terms and privacy practices apply to your interactions there.

App-store licences and purchases

For an iOS app obtained through the App Store, Apple's Standard EULA applies unless a different licence is supplied in that listing. These website terms are not a custom Apple EULA. Relevant Google Play terms apply to Android distribution. Any price and purchase conditions are shown by the store before payment; this website has no checkout.

Your rights and our responsibilities

Features and document compatibility may vary by platform, operating system and file. We work to correct reported issues, but cannot promise error-free processing of every PDF. Nothing here excludes statutory guarantees or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes and stopping use

We may update the app, website or these terms and will identify changes with an updated date. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate notice. Changes do not remove rights already acquired under applicable law. You can stop using KayaPDF at any time; export files you want to keep before removing the app.
